We get asked what our biggest bridal party is... I think it was Bride plus 10 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 2 flower girls, and the officiant ... it was a big day, but truly we love big bridal parties. 💓

The first time I wore makeup I was 5 years old - my mom lined my eyes with a dark kohl and I remember instantly transfixed with how mysterious and bold they suddenly looked. My eyes took on another dimension and I felt like I 'saw' myself for the first time. Later it became a tool I used to transform- both physically and vibrationally. There were many times in life I felt I needed to be a certain persona, or show up in the world when I wasn't feeling like facing anyone- makeup was an armor, a magic tool I could use to empower myself. ⠀

There are many medicines in life. Nature medicine. Music medicine. Food medicine. These are gifts from God that are meant to fill our cups and enrich us on this human experience. I'm grateful that i found a makeup medicine that has helped me, and something I can share with other women to inspire them to step into their power and elevate the beauty they already posses. ⠀

It’s a funny thing, I know that makeup can be considered superficial but truly I’ve seen it affect women (and men) on a deep level. It won’t solve the big stuff, but it can be the thing that helps you face it. ⠀

This post has nothing really to do with the quote 🙃😜but I wanted to give you a big round of applause for all you’ve done this year ... you’ve done SO MUCH and I bet you don’t even give yourself credit for half of it.

This time of year I have the tendency to feel like I didn’t do enough - I could have posted more, started that online shop, the blog, the course, the podcast, the product line... all the visions and dreams I have for my business... and its all exciting and good ... but I can tend to feel impatient and hard on with myself with what I had thought I would execute by end of the year. Any other business owners else feel me ??? ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
And you know? I probably could have done more work on those things... But when I look back on what truly matters, it has little to do with progress or financial gain. ⠀⠀

I feel accomplished in picking up my daughter from school almost every day and really spending quality time with her. (And I’m talking bout the ridiculous 2pm pickup...) ⠀⠀
• • • ⠀
I feel accomplished cooking dinner for my parents and brother and his family every Meatless Monday’s and making it a weekly tradition. ⠀⠀
• • • ⠀
I’m proud of feeling strong and making fitness a priority in my life and working out to feel good in mind and body even on days I would have rather hide in bed with a bag of chips (not to say that didn’t happen either. 😬) ⠀⠀

Im happy I took time to travel, to continue to learn, to meet new friends, to host an event to give back to my community, to love on my team, to spend time alone, to read and to rest. ⠀⠀

It’s important to have goals but have your priorities! Have boundaries! And have fun! There is noooooo race. And there is no better measure of success than your own happiness. ⠀⠀

Ok inspo rant over... but tell me, what’s something you feel accomplished in that’s not directly business or financially related. Maybe it’s a health or fitness goal? 💪🏼Relationship milestone? 💓Learned how to dance on a pole? 💃🏻 I wanna know :) ⠀
